A new look

We've updated our brand identity while also maintaining our edge. I n designing the new logo we wanted to first and foremost promote name recognition. To achieve this we put the name together on one line and simplified the look by integrating the mark with the logotype. Microgramma was chosen as the font our logo would be based on for its simplicity and sense of history. It was designed by Aldo Novarese and Alessandro Butti in 1952 and was used extensively in the 60's and 70's for new cutting edge products, computers and popular science fiction movies like 2001: A Space Odyssey. We hand tooled the typography to get the proportions we wanted and customized the WOW to get the emphasis where we wanted it. The result is a one of a kind look that captures the spirit of our firm.

A new website

Much of the digital world contains too much 'noise'. Overloaded with too many functions and poorly thought-out graphics. None of this sits comfortably with Big Wow Design's vision of websites that are beautifully designed, enduring and easy to use. Our challenge is to develop designs that blend art and function. We also look at ways to bring the 'wow' factor to the websites we design. Ways to create an emotional connection to the viewer and bring them closer to the information we want to impart.

Our new website is a good case-in-point. Did you know that the site that you'll be viewing is comprised of only one page! That's right, we've been able to take our old site of over 150 pages and put it on a single page. We also simplified the navigation interface, maximized readability while minimizing load times. All of this plus we've made it easier for people to find us by incorporating our own special blend of search engine optimization techniques.

This just in...

The new Jagor & Jagor DDS website has been successfully launched. Big Wow Design started by creating a new brand identity for them and carried it through to their stationary suite and new site. Jagor & Jagor's new brand identity and website were designed to impart the philosophy of this family run dental practice. Friendly, family oriented, conservative and comprehensive in their services and approach to dentistry.

Some of the new features of the website include the incorporation of Google Maps that allow new patients to get turn-by-turn directions from their home to Jagor & Jagor's office. Also included is a slideshow of the facility, before and after photos of cosmetic dentistry procedures, and well as, an easy way to download new patient forms.
